Intro

he cutscenes in BD was planned in the first place only as Diashow of the marvelous pictures of the belgian artist Felix Serwir in the style of the Neverwinternights intro because short before the release there was no budget or time left for something bigger.
I found it too dry for a computergame.
A few test renderings later with background from the citadel level iI managed to convince projectleader and storyteam to have it spiced up with a 3d cameraflight.


Different Beyond Divinity-Snippets

After the release of Beyond Divinity I supported Kiya, Myrthos, Barnabus und Raze with BD Strategy Guide grafics for the Locusinn. Left hand you'll find my Coverdesign for it.

Below it is a Screenshot of the BD-Helden with all theoretically possible weightclasses, weapons and armor variantions. Together that means the small amount of 35000 Polygons, builded from 400 Objects, 15MB Ingametextures und he contains approximately 60 different animations.

Left at the bottom is a rather unusual collection of weapons from Beyond Divinity.

Right below we again see the 3D-Model of the hero, this time with a special texture. Unfortunately this easteregg got lost in the trouble of the release, but Barnabus managed to manually hack it free in most parts.
